In addition, numerous wine tours are available so you can experience the best that Los Gatos wineries have to offer in one afternoon.
One of Los Gatos’ best kept secrets is their love of and flair for Halloween fun. Adults and children alike are enthralled with the annual spectacle that is Tait Street – from Johnson Avenue to Tait. It is estimated that more than 100,000 pieces of candy are given out each year and the homeowners manage to take it over the top year after year. A MUST SEE if you are in the area at the end of October.
Feeling like getting outside to enjoy the fresh air? The city of Los Gatos has numerous parks and hundreds of miles of trails which allows locals and visitors alike to explore the spoils of nature. Some popular areas in the Los Gatos areas include Vasona & Los Gatos Creek County Parks and the Castle Rock State Park.
Vasona Park is also home to the Annual Fantasy of Lights – Northern California’s Larges Drive-thru Holiday Light Show. From early December to New Year’s Eve from approximately 6-10pm, Vasona Park is ablaze with a festive, animated light show. Pre-paid tickets are now required:

The NUMU – New Museum of Los Gatos is a local favorite for their unique exhibitions which change throughout the year. From the paintings and drawings by Atelier to late-night Thursdays at the museum and The NASA Paintings there is something for everyone.
And when you are ready for a little retail therapy or a fine meal there are numerous high-end boutiques, shops and fine dining establishments throughout town.
